Last month, there's a new customer met us for Sunpower flexible solar pnales, because there's a a serious problem happened on the monocrystalline flexible solar panels they had bought from another company.
A few days after the installation and use of the monocrystalline flexible solar panels they bought, the hot spot problems occurred.
At first, the product was burnt by local heating at the corners of the solar cells, but two days later, all the products were burned through.
Now the whole batch of solar panels need to be dismantled and scrapped, resulting in huge loss.
After getting to know us, we suggested them to use Sunpower flexible solar panels, because Sunpower cells have special structural design to better prevent the hot spot problems.
We have done experiments, under the same condition, Sunpower cells are much better than monocrystal cells in the ability to resist the hot spot problems.
So, we help customer to re-design the flexible solar panel to use Sunpower cell instead of monocrystal cell accourding to before size to produce samples.
Last week they told us the test outcome, the Sunpower flexible solar panels' performance is good that until now there have been no happened any heat spot problems.
